Absolutely one of the best dinners I've been to. They have one in LA and I've never been but decided to try the Las Vegas location while I was here. The entrance already makes you feel welcome and the low-light ambiance around the entire restaurant adds for a relaxing feel. Our waitress was super nice and was very personable, their priority of customer service is matched. The food was phenomenal, I got the miso Chilean seabass. In my opinion, tofu on the plate could be warmer and veggies touched up with some more sauce. But very minor details compared to the whole plate itself which I rate very highly. Cocktails were cool and lively, and the banana pudding for dessert is a must have!! Will definitely be heading back to this place again.

I attended a customer appreciation party at Tao and it was a vibe. I didn't really enjoy the music selection but i understand that you have to cater to the crowd. Beautiful venue. I didn't eat only had a few drinks that were fairly decent. I enjoyed the rooftop experience. It's a beautiful view up there.

Another great meal at Tao this week! My husband and I always prioritize this on our annual trip to Las Vegas. Perks: - Nearly everything on the menu is delicious (I highly recommend the tuna tartare with crispy rice and rock shrimp lettuce cups!) - Free dessert provided for any special occasion - Lively, upscale vibe (this time there was an awesome DJ playing on a Thursday night!) - Free night club admission if you have dinner at the restaurant. Just ask your server. Be sure to check their dress code in advance - Servers are friendly and attentive Cons: - Even with a reservation, they ALWAYS run late and act inconvenienced by your reservation (this has happened to us 5+ times and even in both the NY locations as well). They force you to wait in the bar so you will order drinks, but then they aren't even friendly or available when you try to order - Too loud to hear conversations at your table - Bathroom attendants expect a tip to provide you with soap and paper towels. Be sure to bring cash. They do sell a ton of convenience items (deodorant, flip flops, mints, etc.), but I don't like having to tip just to use soap to wash my hands

This place is a great place to visit if you're in Las Vegas. We stayed at The Venetian and heard great things about Tao. It was pretty dark inside but was comfortable and the service was good. The food was delicious and well seasoned.

If you're a cocktail lover, I'm going to need you to trust me on this and order yourself a Taotini. I don't know what kind of magic they infuse into this drink, but it is the best alcoholic beverage I've had anywhere. If it wouldn't have been frowned upon and cost me $250, I would've had 10. Okay, now that the most important things are out of the way, let's get to the rest of my review. We made a reservation for 8:15 on a Thursday night. We only waited a few minutes before our table was ready. The restaurant is gorgeous, and the ambiance is abundant. I really like the theming and how dark it is. It really is a cool place to eat. Jack is a phenomenal waiter. He was friendly, he brought the energy, and he had great recommendations. It felt like he was hanging out with us while also doing his job and doing it well. I was with a group of 5 and we all felt well taken care of. I ordered the orange chicken which was really tasty. I just wish there had been more of it for how much it cost. (Side note: I do think this restaurant is really expensive, but at some point, you just have to acknowledge that that's just how Vegas strip dining is now. You could go somewhere else, but it would lack the ambiance and experience.) My husband ordered the same and has been kicking himself ever since for not trying the sushi. I would like to state that I know how random this is, really, I do, but you HAVE to order the garlic green beans if you're like green beans at all. They were the best green beans I've ever had in my life. I don't know what it was about them that made them so tasty, but they were well worth the $10 they cost. The last thing I ask is that you do me a favor and just flip over the chopstick holder at your table to peek at what's on the bottom. As much as I want to spoil it for you, I won't. It gave us a good little laugh. Hope to see you here! I'll be the girl at the bar on my next vacation, chugging Tao Tinis and eating garlic green beans with my hands! XoXo PS: After posting this review I felt compelled to edit and explain why this review is 4 stars instead of 5. For one, the pricing. It feels very expensive for its portion sized. The other reason is a weird issue we had with the bill. As I said before, Jack is wonderful with his vibe and recommendations. He encouraged us to order different things to share but we all had very different tastes, so we chose to order as individuals. Someone in my group asked for a rec between 2 items, but 2 other people at the table had already ordered those things for themselves and based on that he was encouraged by our waiter to order something else since those choices were already at the table. Which was weird because we weren't sharing. At the end, when he brought the bill, he tried to get us to split it 5 ways. We had all ordered a different number of drinks for ourselves and different priced meals, so there's no way that made sense for us to do. He really tried to discourage us from splitting the bill claiming that it would take a while for him to get a manager to do it for us. When we insisted, he came back with our individual bills in less than 5 minutes. We tried to charge to our rooms or at least have our player's cards applied but he claimed he couldn't do that for us. It just got very weird at the end, so I felt the need to knock off a star. However, that wouldn't keep me from going back or being happy to sit at his table again!

Good food and lit drinks! The vibe of this place definitely feels like a club but as a restaurant (club is on the third floor). I had the sushi, fried rice, dumplings, filet mignon and chow mein. The server was attentive and made sure I ordered something that wouldn't trigger my allergy and provided alternatives. Pricey for what it was but nice dinner spot to go with a group. Happy Anniversary to my parents!

TAO is our favorite restaurant on The Strip for a reason!!! We came here for my birthday dinner and had another fantastic experience. TAO does not disappoint! We were a party of 5 and ordered a variety of dishes. My boyfriend and I ordered the black pepper chili chicken, shrimp tempura roll, and the Chinese sausage and shrimp fried rice to share. We loved the fried rice last time and it was yet again amazing. The shrimp tempura roll was perfect too, nice and light and the flavor was spot on. The black pepper chili chicken was only okay to me (I personally don't order many chicken dishes when I'm eating out) but my boyfriend loved it. They also brought out a fortune cookie dessert filled with chocolate and vanilla (I think?) cream with assorted fruits scattered along the plate. So so good!!! And so kind of them to do for my birthday! The dessert was massive - 5 of us shared it and were stuffed after. Along with the food, the service was a 10/10! Our server was honestly the best and was so sweet and helpful!! She came by to check on us multiple times. I believe the restaurant manager came by to check on us and even brought us out complimentary espresso martini shots because our server said we were a great table. Insanely generous of them!! Intimate vibe here! TAO is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or have a date night. The dimmed lighting creates an intimate and sexy vibe for a nice dinner or to grab drinks. I can't stress how amazing TAO is! The food, service, and ambiance are all wonderful and I recommend this place to anyone I know who's going to Vegas! You won't be disappointed coming here, I already can't wait to come back!!

Got to try the famous Tai Bistro during my last visit to Vegas and this was by far one of the best asian meals I've had. Our server (Liz) was extremely sweet and made some awesome recommendations. Ambience is nice and upscale. Here is our take on following items that we tried. Chicken Gyoza : Best Goyzas ever . A must try ! Filet Mignon Pepper Steak : Awesome . Hands down the best item on the menu. Spicy Tuna Tartare and Chicken entree were great as well. Lychee Martini was great ! We will definitely be back !
